Mālama, meaning “to take care of,” is one of our core principles in Hawai’i. This means mālama our people, our land, the culture, and everything we come into contact with. In other words, to “preserve and protect.” As an island with limited resources, it’s even more important that we do so, and we are so lucky to have some selfless local business making that the backbone of everything they contribute.
